Since 1998, OPTIMEX is specialized in designing and manufacturing industrial canned motor pumps. Its expertise in this field enables OPTIMEX to provide a qualitative and reactive after sales services to its customers.
The company located in Fleurieux sur l’Arbresle near Lyon has expanded over the years to accommodate today a 2000m² workshop allowing us to manage production and after-sales services. Efficiency is a priority for Optimex in order to guarantee service continuity in our clients’ factories.
Optimex has established efficient maintenance procedures for canned motor pump technology of all brands. Thanks to them we offer a qualitative repair in the shortest possible time.
A maintenance operation at Optimex is divided into different phases:
Phase 1, our experts carry out an expertise during dismantling and establish a first diagnosis including an illustrated with photos report.
The components of the machine are tested and expertised according to a procedure established by Optimex. No component is neglected from the active part of the hydraulics to the electric motor elements, including all mechanical parts such as bearings, wear rings or the hydraulic balancing system.
Phase 2, we collect the history of the machine’s operating conditions in order to establish a complete diagnosis.
Phase 3, depending on the results of the expertise, our teams are led to propose different options.
If the machine is not too damaged, we offer a replacement of the wearing parts identical to the original design.
In case of recurring failures, we can make design improvements to make the pump more reliable.
Finally, when repairs are no longer possible, Optimex can propose retrofitting by reusing parts of the damaged machine or offer a new machine into place of the damaged one.
In phase 4, during reassembly and testing, the pumps follow the same manufacturing cycle as a new pump.
We inspect the complete mobile for roundness defects and balancing as well as axial play. We carry out a hydrostatic test and revalidate the hydraulic performances regarding flow rate and pressure on the test bench. Finally, we control different parameters in order to validate the power consumption, the measurement of the thrusts balancing system and the mechanical clearances in operation.
In order to continue to develop its quality of service as well as its reactivity, Optimex has, for example, purchased a three-dimensional control machine or has invested in its machining company by acquiring a CNC (Computer Numerical Control) turning machine.
